As the global market leader for braking systems and other rail vehicle systems, the Rail Vehicle Systems (RVS) division of Knorr-Bremse is the worldwide driver of the rail transportation revolution and next-generation mobility. The division supplies highly innovative system solution that make rail transportation of people and goods more reliable and better connected, safer and cleaner, and more comfortable and efficient.

The Munich site is home to the Management Board, together with the aftermarket (RailServices), development, project management, quality, supply chain management, and procurement functions, and the Group's global administration team. The Systems, Sales, Digital Products, and Innovations business units and the corresponding Brake Control, Electronics, Air Supply, Hydraulics, and Bogie Equipment Centers of Competence are also managed from Munich. With its production, sales, and service centers, the division is represented in 29 countries around the globe.
